Standard Flugel Horn Mouthpieces$110

Our flugel horn models are offered in a variety of designs and sizes, perfect for players of all styles and experience levels from brass bands, to Dixie land, to Jazz. Each piece has been designed to optimize the unique and sometimes challenging playing characteristics of flugel horns. We offer 6 variations on rim size and 8 cup depths. Like with all Marcinkiewicz mouthpieces the lower the number the deeper the cup. The mouthpieces are also offered with different back bore to optimize sound and tone. The FLB version will have the tighter back bores and create a Bright tone. The FLD version use a more open back bore to produce a Darker tone. The FLS models use an S (symphonic) back bore producing the fullest darkest tone.

The "300" series models, like their trumpet counterpart, all utilize a 3C rim and ascending cup depths, Deep to Shallow.

In addition to this standard line, we also offer a small selection of endorsee models. These pieces were made for the player and their specific needs at that time.

All Marcinkiewicz flugel horn mouthpieces (with the exception of BS C FL) are made with a large Morse taper. Cousenon and Bach tapers available by special order.
