Marcinkiewicz™ Vermeer™ Model Bb Trumpets The last thing that you want to do is have to worry about the limitations of your instruments while you are making music. Whatever style of player you are our Vermeer™ and Rembrandt™ model trumpets allow you to express yourself without compromise.
About the name Vermeer Vermeer, Johannes 1632 - 1675 is considered one of
the finest artists of the period and nearly everyone admired the exquisite
simplicity and
optical appeal of his pictures. Producing about 40 paintings in his 20
year painting career, he was compared to other well-known Dutch artists,
including Rembrandt, Frans Hals and contemporary genre painters as Gerard
ter Borch and Pieter de Hooch, each of whom painted hundreds of paintings.
Vermeer's pictures have often been described as beautiful, enigmatic,
poetical, with a sense of the “classical”, harmony and purity
of designs, and his perception of contrast, finesse and attention to
detail is overwhelming.
For these reasons, I have
named our single bend bell trumpet designs, Vermeer™ models.
Old world craftsmanship, well designed for today's player while maintaining
the “classic” or traditional sound, Vermeer™ Model Custom™ Ah yes, the Model Custom™. This instrument has a special meaning to me. Attached to tradition, I was bound to go back to my roots. The pre-war French Besson had a unique sound and so did the Chicago Model Benge. The Vermeer™ Model Custom™ is reminiscent of those types of Trumpets. Traditional “Classic” trumpet sound, suitable for most musical situations. Also features a 4¾ bell diameter with no tuning slide brace. Vermeer™ Model Three™ Bright can be overwhelming at times. It would be nice to have a horn that can be bright and caress you as well. The Vermeer™ Model Three™ has all these things, a bright and focused round sound. What separates this horn from others is its responsiveness and incredible presence. This instrument is ideal for most situations, and preferred by players that like to be on top of the section. Features a 5" bell diameter Vermeer™ Model Four™ Sometimes its hard to decide what is dark or full, bright, centered, rich-full sound. Well the Vermeer™ model Four™ has just that, all of them. When I designed this instrument I was thinking about Jazz players and Soloist, you know, when your up in front. What makes this horn special to me is, even though you point the horn out towards the audience, the orchestra / band can hear you as well. Having a Broad, more open sound, the Vermeer™ Model Four™ is preferred by players who like to Solo. It has excellent projection and warmth. Features a 4¾” (4.75”) bell diameter.
