Beginning work as a freelance trombone player at the age of 15, Jeff quickly gained experience in many genres having the opportunity to study with some wonderful instructors such as Bob Waner, Jeff Tower Hal Crook, and the teaching staff at Berklee College of Music. After winning multiple awards in High School and College Jazz festivals, Jeff was first recognized in the November 1985 issue of Downbeat Magazine. To date Jeff has a Bachelor's in Commercial Music and a Master's of Music in Music Education.

Having played commercially with such big name artists such as Lou Rawls, Tony Bennett, Frankie Valli, The Four Tops, Jon Faddis, Slide Hampton, Bill Watrous, in addition to many others Jeff has also performed at the 1995 Montreaux Jazz Festival as a guest artist.

Jeff's carrier is not limited to just Jazz he has also played in the Pit orchestra for iconic shows such as: Sound of Music, Camelot, My Fair Lady, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables', Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Starlight Express, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma, Wizard of Oz, and Guys & Dolls, just to name a few.

Currently a member of the Jazz Ambassadors Jeff has played with some of the finniest players from NY to Seattle. In addition to his performing credentials Jeff also works closely with students both private and through public schools helping creating summer jazz camps. In addition to frequent clinics through the Army's free clinic program while on tour with the Jazz Ambassadors.
