Biography
Andy has been a professional trumpet player for almost 30 years.

He has performed with Arturo Sandoval and his Hot House Big Band, The Temptations, Frankie Valle and The Four Seasons, The Four Tops, Dianne Schurr, Nancy Sinatra, Ernestine Anderson, Electric Light Orchestra, The Sons of Champlin, Pink Martini, Carl Smith and The Natural Gas, Lydia Pense, Glenn Miller Ghost Band, The Mills Brothers, Lou Rawls, and many others. He has been playing with the cooking Art Abrams and The Swing Machine Big Band for 10 years, and with Portland’s hot salsa band, Conjunto Alegre, for 18 years.

Andy is the first factory rep for Marcinkiewicz Co. and is the architect of our Mouthpiece Fitting Program for schools.

His former brother-in-law is long-time Tower of Power trumpet master, Mic Gillette, and Andy grew up around the Tower of Power horn section. Mic was Andy’s first trumpet teacher.
